PERFECTO. some random shots during one of my stop in Bergamo, Italy. wearing all from Zara, it is less than an hour by train northeast of Milan, by the foothills of the Orobie Alps, very popular with Italian skiers. but those who simply pass through risk missing a world-class mix of diverse architecture, impressive art collections (often tucked away in unlikely spots) and special gastronomy. i found myself deeply in love with Città Alta, the centuries before and after are all around you here.

LEOPARD PRINT

Leopard Blouse Vintage, Skirt-H&M, Bracelet-Forever21, Envelope Clutch 

PRINT. the combination of dark colors like black and brown would have been a little too much but the feeling is mutual here. i love it as it is slightly different from other prints and the superbly soft chiffon-like material in a mocha brown shade cling elegantly. just perfect for brightening up a little black dress or adding pop to a simple outfit. now, time to get caught up on all the photos filling up my hard drive from the past month! really don’t mean to drop off the face of the planet, but my work schedule is always so packed here that taking blog photos is the last thing i have time for. it’s a straight week of 6 am call times and 13 hour work days but at least i’m surrounded by an amazing team. promise to return soon xx.

hello 2011 please be awesome ♥

HAPPY NEW YEAR. we spent January 1 walking through our lives, room by room, drawing up a list of work to be done, cracks to be patched. maybe this year, to balance the list, we ought to walk through the rooms of our lives, not looking for flaws, but for potential to grow as a much better person. we are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars. perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy. i have only the simplest tastes. i am always satisfied with the best. cheers to a new year and a another chance to make it right! i’d a good closure to 2010 with no regrets.

my 2011 wishlist :

2. travel sojourn continues

3. shoot, endure and indulge to just fashion lomography
4. be a less nagging but still protective mom to Cody :)
