This is so fashionably refreshing it made me happy! One will never get rid of greens, ever.

WFW (DAY 4) I ALEXIS MABILLE

Runway showcase by Alexis Mabille as part of Women's Fashion Week Haute Couture on October 29, 2011. An apprentice at Emmanuel Ungaro & Nina Ricci, Mabille was resident at Christian Dior for 9 years, working alongside John Galliano & Hedi Slimane. His rich and playful imagination, technical affinity and wealth of experience conjure a dynamic, playful and daring landscape; a unisex realm of sophistication where he is free to rewrite the codes of fashion.

WFW (DAY 4) I ANNE VALERIE HASH

The long awaited runway showcase by Anne Valerie Hash as part of Women's Fashion Week Haute Couture on October 29, 2011. Hash has made-to-measure clients spread out around the world, from Switzerland and Belgium to the Middle East and Asia.  For one thing, she has always had an enthusiasm for lingerie colors, and they were present yesterday, along with more vivid shades of orange and whites. The designer continues to work on cleaning lines, playing with contrasts of her famous flowing drapes and vertical lines. Silk pants, emphasizing the hips line; loose muslin blouses, feminine straight silk knee-length skirts and some long flowing skirts which adds sensuality. Hash experiments with elements of macrame and embroidery, appearing here and there in collar details, cuffs and plastronsInventive, imaginative tailoring was the main event. The results looked put-together, but not precious - which is pretty accurate way of describing French women's approach to dressing.

WFW (DAY 3) I CHRISTOPHE JOSSE

Christophe Josse on the catwalk as part of Women's Fashion Week Haute Couture on October 28, 2011. In this fall-winter collection, i'm impressed by cascades of organza and fantastic muslin dresses. There were not a single pair of pants. Dresses didn't echo each other; from midi to maxi, from pitch black to immaculate white. And here we get to the climax of couture collection – a wedding dress! This dress should only be worn once and that would be enough, a snow-white dress, woven from layers of tulle. Instead of a bridal veil designer, he has chosen red feathers – the white colour of innocence + red colour of victory, blood and love. And standing ovations. Bravo, maestro, bravo!

Opening showcase design during the August Silk Guo Baobao SS/2012 show of China Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2012 (Day 4) at the Banquet Hall, Beijing Hotel on October 27, 2011 in Beijing, China. Fascinating! China Fashion Week has so far already displayed an astonishing kaleidoscope of colors, shapes, and architectural designs. China's fashion world is exploding. And Asian models are currently all the rage in the fashion world.

CHINA FASHION WEEK SPRING/SUMMER 2012

A showcase designs on the catwalk by Weiyun Ye Jianying SS/2012 of China Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2012 on October 28, 2011 in Beijing, China that caught my eyes. As you know that Philippine Fashion Week (October 24-30, 2011) & China Fashion Week (October 25-November 1, 2011) are concurrently happening right now in Asia as we speak.

WFW (DAY 3) I EYMERIC FRANCOIS

Runway showcases designs by Emeric Francois as part of Women's Fashion Week Haute Couture on October 28, 2011. Amazing laces + sculpted corsets, the perspectives is a paramount of his creations. The Eymeric Francois woman slips into gowns who sensually draw her silhouette. Plenty of affordness in Asia, you may not know this yet .. and many still don't really appreciate or understand what haute couture really is, simply because it has not been in the fashion main limelight for many years and the future between couture and ready-to-wear has yet to be revealed here. Asia, and especially China, is fashion's current main focus, with other luxury labels including Dior & Chanel staging their fashion shows there and US Vogue's Anna Wintour reportedly working on establishing a Vogue Fashion Fund designer scheme in the country.

WFW (DAY 2) I MAXIME SIMOENS

Maxime Simoens runway show as part of Women's Fashion Week Haute Couture on October 27, 2011. There were incredible pieces, including laces + sequins details and shoulder furry pad you could really see all the work involved. I’m not into a chain dresses, but  there were some beautiful, form-fitting jackets + dresses I really liked. The coolest pieces were this chain dresses–the long one at show’s end would make a statement at any soirée.

SINGAPORE WOMEN'S FASHION WEEK 2011

“Haute Couture has quite rightly garnered critical acclaim, cultivated exceptional design talents and decorative traditions. I am therefore particularly excited that over 140 years of artistry and passion should be revealed to a wider Asian audience through WFW 2011 Singapore initiative. In doing so, it will develop a stronger future and presence in Singapore and Asia and as well as build upon an already exceptional legacy” - Frank Cintamani, WFW 2011 Singapore's Chairman & Founder of Fide Multimedia

NYFW I MARC JACOBS 2012

MARC JACOBS. it was the swan song to this season's New York Fashion Week — and even though the designer's collection is always one of the most anticipated of the season, this time around the buzz surrounding it felt a bit more frenzied. or fabrics, Jacobs played with reflections and transparency, mixing materials that were glittery, shiny, or iridescent with checks and gingham. reinforcing the intergalactic western vibe were high-heeled cowboy boots in clear vinyl and silver. here's some of my favorites!
